What you'll do in this role 🛠️
We're a small team of creative technologists passionate about building a better experience for creative freelancers and agencies —and we’re looking for a mission-driven engineer who shares our ideals.
- You will be one of the earliest hires. You will work directly with the Founders, Head of Engineering, and designers.
- Management opportunities will come over the next few years. You will be contributing a tremendous amount to the founding culture and DNA of the company, especially as we build and scale our engineering team. We're looking for someone who's seen what it's like to grow a team and product from tiny to large—and who isn't afraid to grow just as fast.
- You're a full-stack engineer with a focus on front-end development and design. Your goal will be to create the most user-friendly and delightful experience. Remember, Puzzl’s most common use case is for other top designers. Our current tech stack consists of MERN (JS).
- You'll take ownership of projects from code to launch. We're looking for someone who has set up production systems before and isn't afraid to build and deploy products from scratch.
Who you are 😎
You're a fast learner with a history of diverse technical experience and excitement about for the future of work looking to join an early-stage startup!
- You have several years of experience as a software engineer on your own or through schooling.
- You're experienced with MERN: developed applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.
- You're a full-stack generalist who loves a good challenge.
- You love learning new technologies.
- Most importantly, you’re hungry. You’re never satisfied, but rather like to continue to improve upon your work.
